If at any time in the future you wish to upgrade your diamond for a larger size or better quality, you can trade it in to eWeddingBands and receive the full original purchase price toward your new diamond. There is no minimum purchase price required on the new diamond as long as it is more expensive than the first and you pay only the difference.
Since eWeddingBands has a full service jewelry shop, we are happy to set the new diamond in your setting free of charge. If modifications need to be made to your ring in order to hold the bigger stone, such as installing a larger crown, there will be charges for those modifications.
Simply follow these guidelines:
1. Complete the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Form to receive an RMA number for the return of your merchandise.
2. Package your diamond and return with the original packaging. We cannot accept diamonds for trade up that have been altered or damaged in any way. Please note: Any missing diamond box package items or certificates carry a $195 replacement fee.
3. Return shipping method: On your receipt, if the price of the item you're returning is:
$500 or Less: You can ship it via any carrier you choose. Be sure to ship your diamond fully insured, and request a delivery confirmation that your shipment has reached us.*
More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail‚àö¬•, insured for the full value of the item(s), and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached us.* (Please note: FedEx‚Äö√†√ú and UPS‚Äö√†√ú will not insure merchandise over $500.)
Any unauthorized or non-insured packages will be returned to sender.
Once your diamond is received, our returns department will review it for quality assurance, and the diamond serial number will be verified. A full credit for the diamond will be applied towards your new diamond within three business days of receipt of acceptable returned merchandise less any applicable fees for missing diamond box items. Please note that the credit issued is for the diamond only. No trade up credit is allowed for the purchase price of your mounting or jewelry. You will receive an e-mail notification once your return has been received and processed.
